Statewide Topical Reports

The Fifth Assessment Statewide Topical Reports highlight issues of statewide significance and how the impacts and risks of climate change affect human and natural systems. These reports deepen our understanding of critical and cross-cutting topics in California, including racial equity and climate justice, climate impacts to tribal and indigenous communities, climate-induced human displacement and migration, and climate impacts to the economy. They also highlight opportunities to build adaptation capacity and resilience to climate impacts in ways that can inform state and local planning, policy, and action, vulnerability assessments, adaptation planning, and community resilience efforts.
